(2) Victim support
I have a strong interest in working with people who have lived experience or is currently living with domestic violence – including both physical violence and emotional abuse/coercion. I offer support for people to understand domestic violence pattern, empower individual to achieve a life with both freedom and dignity regardless of the decision being made about the relationship itself.
As mentioned above, I could provide trauma treatment for people who are victims of crimes or other general support.
(3) General Supportive Counseling
I offer general supportive counseling which aims to provide a safe space for individual to share their feelings, getting emotional support and cope with contemporary life stressors including both relationship issues and other life transitions.
Child and adolescent therapy supports young people to understand their emotions, feel safer in themselves, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating. I offer therapy for child and adolescent in following areas:
(1) Child and Young Person encountering mental health challenges
Depression
Anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, specific phobias, and selective mutism
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or other trauma effects, such as sexual abuse, domestic violence, transgenerational trauma
Eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder
Children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing intense emotions, self-harm, or suicidality
(2) Child and Young Person presenting challenging behaviors
Child and adolescent anger outbursts
School non-attendance
Oppositional Defiant Disorder or defiant behavior in childhood
Conduct issues or delinquent behavior
(3) Child and Young Person Facing developmental challenges, including:
Interpersonal difficulties
Parent-child and adolescent communication/relationship issues
